Summary/Objective
The Director of
Advancement and Strategic Partnerships will be responsible for planning,
directing, and organizing all fundraising activities for The Yunion. This
individual will report directly to the Executive Director and will lead the
organization’s strategic fund development initiatives. This includes annual,
major, and capital campaign giving, event planning, corporate partnerships,
donor stewardship, and recognition programs. The director will also collaborate
on marketing, communications, and public relations related to development.

Responsibility
The
Director will not have direct reports but will provide guidance, and support to
ensure alignment with organizational goals, foster professional development,
and maintain high performance standards within the leadership team.
Work
Environment
This
position operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely
uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, filing
cabinets and fax machines.
Physical
Demands
This
is a primarily sedentary role; however, there will be lifting of files, opening
of filing cabinets and frequent bending or standing.
Expected
Hours of Work
Standard
working hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with a one
hour unpaid lunch hour. Schedules may vary based on company needs and some late
evenings and weekend hours are required.
Travel
Local,
Regional, and occasional National travel is required for this position.
